Welcome to the South Yarmouth St. Vincent DePaul Society

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic organization of lay people, founded in 1833 by Frederic Ozanam and his companions.  The society derives its inspiration from St. Vincent de Paul.  They work in the spirit of justice and charity by person to person contact with those who suffer. They offer Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas baskets for those who would otherwise have no main meal. They have special collections throughout the year and collect non-perishable food for their food pantry.

The Society works within the parish boundaries, helping those who are in need of emergency help. 

The Society keeps the anonymity of its members and of those they help.
