Welcome to The Women's Guild of St Pius X, South Yarmouth

The mission statement of the St. Pius X Women’s Guild states:

The object of this organization shall be to perform spiritual and charitable works for the Parish and the Diocese and to promote friendliness among its members. (St. Pius X Women’s Guild Bylaws, Article III)

For over 50 years, the St. Pius X Women’s Guild has welcomed all women of the parish to join in their activities.  Non-parishioners may join at the discretion of the Board.  Dues are currently $10 per year.  A nominal amount is charged for the Communion Breakfast and Spring Luncheon to pay for the food.  Coffee, tea and dessert are served at all regular meetings.

In keeping with our mission statement, our annual program includes a mix of spiritual, instructional, social, charitable and fund-raising activities.  Generally we meet on the second Tuesday of each month from October to June.  Watch the church bulletin and this website for details about meetings and special events.

The St. Pius X Women’s Guild sponsors the Monday Morning Crafts Group which meets from September through the Summer Fair at 9:45 am to noon in the Religious Education Hall.  While enjoying one another’s company, this hard-working group creates handmade items for the Christmas Bazaar and Summer Fair.  All are welcome to join in their camaraderie while sewing, knitting, painting or crafting.

On Wednesday mornings at 9:45 am from September to June, the Mission Group meets in the Religious Education Hall.  They knit items and collect linens for the domestic missions.  This group also welcomes new members to join in their fellowship and good works.
