SYNOD REPORT

In our parish and diocese, Synod 2021- 2023 is in full swing. Thirty-five parishioners gathered to tell the Synod team how as a parish, we are journeying together and what paths the Spirit might be inviting us to take. The report has been sent to the diocese.
PARISH SYNOD THANKS!
Thanks so much to Bernadette Nelson and George Perkins for all of their hard work and for the outstanding job they did as the two Parish Ambassadors for the Synod Discussions here at St. Pius.  Bernadette and George attended a Diocesan Training Day for all Parish Ambassadors to prepare to organize and lead the Synod Discussions.  They completed their task as Parish Ambassadors by completing a report summarizing the discussions and sending it to the Diocese.
Thanks also to the many other parishioners and parish leaders who took part in the Synod Discussions and who helped in drafting the summary report.  You have all expressed your love for the Church and for your Parish in a very concrete and palpable way.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Fr.
