A NOTE FROM THE PASTOR REGARDING BINGO:

Dear Friends in Christ,

Perhaps you are aware that our longtime Bingo Coordinator, George Finn, recently retired from this role. George and his fellow Bingo volunteers did an amazing job keeping Bingo going here at St. Pius for many years. I am extremely grateful for their longtime commitment and hard work in supporting the parish through Bingo.

Anticipating this day, I have been engaged in dialogues with other pastors, and more recently, with the Diocese, about alternative means of raising funds for the parish. George’s resignation gives us a new opportunity, with input from the Diocese, and from other pastors, to move in a different direction to raise funds for the parish, without regularly tying up the Parish Life Center, our best facility for parish activities and events.

Again, thanks so much to all of you who worked or supported Bingo here at St. Pius!
